Extra ordinary yellow gold and diamonds multi color stone ring from the fifties

Extra ordinary Yellow Gold Retro ring with strong design influences featuring diamonds and various multi-coloured stones.

The ends of the ring shank are reeded and curved in a way reminiscent of a ram’s horns and support the impressive central part of the ring.

The central part of the ring depicts a stylized mitre shaped bouquet of flowers and is built up around a bright central cabochon navette shaped turquoise. Dotted around the top part of the central stone are two rows of multi coloured stones depicting the flowerheads. They comprise of seven sapphires, two rubies, seven emeralds, four amethyst and four citrine or rock crystal, which provide an abundance of colour.

This is connected to a half circular three-part stem with a reeded central part by four gold strips. The stem is adorned by a band of four carré cut diamonds which is mirrored by a garland of multi coloured stones comprising of two emeralds, two sapphires and one citrine at the bottom of the ring.

The central part is domed and slightly curved which means it gently follows the shape of the finger and accommodates the wearing comfort. The pointed shape of the ring follows the direction of the finger and adds to elongate and define the hand.
