Early 19th century antique cross set with rose cut diamonds

The purity of this 18K yellow gold Georgian cross pendant from 1820 emanates from its heart-shaped filigree surmount and twofold Latin cross depicted by five domed foil-set rose cut diamonds. Through the four diamond-encrusted domed petals sprouting between the intersections of the cross and through the 15 diamond-embellished roses and petals scattered over the ethereal curls, this jewel exudes heritage and romance.

Country of origin: Although it does not carry any legible control marks we believe this to be of Belgian origin.
