Victorian diamond dangle chandelier earrings 18kt rose gold

These Victorian chandelier earrings from 1830 hold 62 foil-set rose cut diamonds encrusted in silver with an 18K red gold backing. The lustre of this jewel is dispersed over three dangling parts forming an assembly with an elegance indifferent to any era. A diamond drop with a swaying centre suspends from a pair of leafs topped by a diamond, which completes a lozenge shaped cluster up to the diamond studs.

Antique jewelry object group: Long hanging earrings, with the possibility of being worn short. Even though these earrings earrings have got a substantial length when worn long, we can assure you from our own experience that they feel as if you're just wearing feathers. As they are comfortable to wear (even in their long form), they are very easy to combine and to change from daytime to evening wear.
Country of origin: Although it does not carry any legible control marks we believe it to be of Dutch or Belgian origin.
